MARGARET ELIZABETH THOMAS, age 82 of Reston, Virginia passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Reston Hospital Center.
Margaret was born September 27, 1928 in Nokesville, Virginia, daughter of the late John DeWitt and Mabel (Reading) Cox. She was also preceded in death by one brother, William Partlow and her sister, Mary Hedrick.
Survivors include her loving husband, Howard T. Thomas; four children, Robin Weiss, Melinda Goode, Bruce Thomas and Jennifer Van Vliet; one brother, John E. Cox; 17 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 P.M. Sunday, August 7, 2011 at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas where funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 8, 2011. Interment will follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens, Manassas.

Her funeral today was wonderful. When I left I wanted to do a little more and be a little better. Your mom did an awesome job.
