First Haircut!

I was in denial for a long time about Ollie needing a haircut. I guess I just didn't want to admit that my baby needed a haircut. But I always vowed that I wouldn't be one of those moms who let their kids have long hair that got nasty and tangled in the back, and then they went out in public and thought their au natural kid was the cutest thing ever. And then that's exactly what I did.

But the wings had to go.

Luckily, Hanna saved the day, and 15 minutes and a few lollipops later, Ollie was a little boy and not my baby any more.

Giving up nursing and getting a haircut in the same month is taxing on my emotional well being.

But Hanna did an AMAZING job, and was so quick and awesome. And it helps that Ollie loves her and Chris and their cute puppy Io. He felt right at home.

So thanks Hanna! You are the best!

We stopped about halfway through to savor the moment of a fluffy mullet. Thats what the weird looking picture is :)

I think we should have kept the mullet, you know, family tradition...
